Instead of doing a set of 10, do something like 3 sets of 4. Just keep that up adding a pull up to each set every week or so. Pretty soon you’re body will get used to the movement and you’ll be able to do the 10 pull ups without shaking.

I’ll help you out. When I was in school I could only do a couple of pullups. Now, as a climber in my late 30s, I can do close to 40 at any given time. If you want to feel a burn, try doing a pullup a minute (if you can still only do 3 total) for 20 minutes. When you can do that, then go to 2 and so on. You’ll get sick strong pretty quick. To make it harder, as soon as you are done with the pullup, hit 5 pushups during each minute as well. Good luck
